GesCaixa Galicia is a Risk Capital Funds Management Institution investing its capital in non-quoting business developing innovative projects.

Risk Capital is an investment formula consisting on temporary shares, either majority or minority, of non-quoting businesses.

GesCaixa Galicia promotes business projects and sponsors investments in already established business through its Funds. Funds serve to develop projects intending to increase business value, and once the aims are fulfilled, the investment is removed.

GesCaixa manages two Funds:

• INVERCAIXA GALICIA F. C. R. FUND: Its investments are focused on promoting and sponsoring non-financial businesses whose values do not quote in the first Stock Market. This operation is mainly made by temporary participation in their capital.
  
• CAIXAGALICIA SOCIAL FUND, F. C. R. : Promotes investment in businesses and/or projects benefiting Galicia cultural, educational, social and economical development and facilitating minority groups and/or low-income groups integration.

GesCaixa participation allows to:

• Count on financial funds. GesCaixa can carry out any kind of operations, individually or co-investing with together with other investing groups.
• Working together with participated businesses’ managers.
• Giving the business a better commercial and technological scope.
